MG ZS incompatible with Tesla Superchargers for ‘safety reasons’

Superchargers or destination chargers?

I.e. DC or AC?
Superchargers and DC, the ones that Tesla made available for public use, photo below

I used those at M5 Gloucester Services (N) on Thursday and that work done as well.

La semana pasada intenté cargar mi dispositivo en la estación Supercharger de Tesla en Lifton, de camino a Cornwall. A pesar de probar dos cargadores diferentes, ninguno funcionó. Todos los cargadores funcionaban a la perfección.
Me comuniqué con el servicio de atención al cliente de MG, que negó que existiera un problema de compatibilidad; sin embargo, llamé a Tesla, que me informó de que los MG ZS eran incompatibles por razones de "seguridad". Le pregunté al hombre si había buscado esto en Google y me dijo que no, que era un memorando interno.
Le devuelvo esto a MG, quien niega que sea cierto.
¡No tengo idea de a quién creer! ¿Alguna otra experiencia o información sobre esto? Gracias
MY ZS EV long range luxury September 2023 charge ok in all tesla chargers; Spain , France … but the old models (version 1) have a problems
 
What software update? I have 2022 Zs Ev trophy connect
I had my inverter replaced for the V2L to work on my 2023 ZS LR TC and I presume the latest firmware was installed then. I have used the V4 chargers without any issues since this update and have had no issues whatsoever using them.
 
Mine one was Superchargers in Romford London. I give up on them... waste of time ...
You need to take it back to the dealer and tell them to fix it. Make it their problem and insist they test it.

Given they are the cheapest network, and the most reliable, it's an option worth having if you do rapid charge fairly often.
 
There are a handful of different updates required as discussed on the forum, if it does not work - you need to get the dealer to fix it.

let us know how it goes with Tesla in Europe and chargers generally ?
100% excellent. The chargers are opposite the terminal door at the Folkstone and Calais terminals and in nearly all situations across France/Belgium and The Netherlands 90% of the chargers were empty.

In most cases they were located with toilets/shopping/eating facilities attached. Charging is quick - too quick 50-80% for a toilet break and a coffee purchase!

It's been quite a saga. There is a great set of FAQs on this for the MG5; the ZS is in a similar position, though of course the firmware versions are different, as well as their location in the vehicle.
