MG4 2024 update rumours

That video is AI generated.

And I'll repeat my original question, what is the source for the claims about the new MG4? I notice they haven't been provided at any point.
Well the person that posted them runs the site so if anyone has heard it would be him

Nah. Never take anything on trust unless somebody's professional reputation depends on it, and even then don't do it.
Never said the info was definite I just said the op possibly had a source. None of the changes for the trophy or X Powers are positive anyway

You will not get a bigger screen... you will also lose the small net in front of the central armrest.
But you will get led interior lights, a light in the boot, satnav with built-in ev planner.
And clearer interior, due to clear gray top and pillars.
You will also get a trophy with LFP 49kWh pack likely.

My24 is sold in continental Europe since july (MG usually release new MY on summer). You are just late to the party.

Uh I was forgetting: brand new infotaiment version (roughly comparable with R59) that keep regen mode set in memory.

The following is the information I obtained from participating in the SAIC-authorized third-party car owner survey
0. No change to the chassis
1. Changes to the gear shift
2. Changes to the car interior (towards a more sporty, more MG-like direction)
3. XPOWER Alcantara is available for low-end models (not likely)

Mine is 49 kWh LFP.

Regarding the 49kWh LFP battery, it was sold in China as early as September 2023, and the 51 kWh version was discontinued at the same time

The 49kWh version has some optimizations, such as providing XDS electronic differential lock, which was previously only available in XPOWER, but the rear wheel anti-roll bar is removed. I personally think it is mainly because the original chassis design is too biased towards the driver

And a very clear reversing camera image.

The change in battery capacity may be due to the upstream battery manufacturer CATL optimizing the capacity.

Bigger infotainment is still exclusive to China 49kWh only?

No and the source won’t be provided because the source wishes to remain anonymous. Standard journalism.
That’s why I caveated the post by saying that it’s rumour.

Is not a rumor, I own one from august and I can confirm the changes you listed.
You are likely late because of the massive dealers stock. That's will likely explains the massive discounts you are facing
