As per a recent post, I've just had a service and software upgrade. Before said service I could plug my car into the home granny charger at any time of day or night and leave it for as long or short a time as necessary so it's usually at 100% balanced. This is probably a silly question but since the service I can't charge the car when I want to. How can I disable all restrictions on charging as it was before the service. I've gone into the screen menu and turned off the schedule but the charging port lights remain dark blue for 2 minutes then turn off. It doesn't appear to charge. As usual the dealer is not interested in helping!

Some have reported a screen setting showing one thing, but the car actually does something else. The solution has often been to change the setting, then put it back to what you want.

In your situation, I would rummage around in the car's charging pages and change everything you can find to something else and back again - you may get lucky.

If you use iSmart, just leave that alone until you have fixed the problem or given up. ISmart should show the current car settings when it refreshes, and should update the car settings when you change something on iSmart. Both of these operations fail frequently and so are best avoided when fault finding.

I have heard the best place to turn off timed charging is in the app. I have turned off the scheduled charging in the car and the app has turned it back on.

No idea why, but the problem seems to have righted itself.....!
I thought that the problem solved itself, but no....I plugged it in and it started charging so I left it overnight. The following morning it had added about 5 miles only so back to square one. After further investigation I tapped the charging section on the main screen and found that the charge limit was set to 40%. I also discovered that using the touch screen I could slide the setpoint to 100% and the problem was solved. I've no idea who changed the setting or if the software update was responsible but at the time it was very frustrating, especially as none of this was covered in the handbook. I hope this experience will help someone else.

I normally set mine at 80% and charge when it drops to around 20% which is a good overnight charge. When planning a long journey slide it up to 100% for a full charge.

That is very interesting, I had a charging issue as well which was eventually traced to a setting of 40% that had not been set by me, and I have not had any software updates. Both being set to 40% without intervention is a massive co-incidence.
