MG4 granny charging

As per a recent post, I've just had a service and software upgrade. Before said service I could plug my car into the home granny charger at any time of day or night and leave it for as long or short a time as necessary so it's usually at 100% balanced. This is probably a silly question but since the service I can't charge the car when I want to. How can I disable all restrictions on charging as it was before the service. I've gone into the screen menu and turned off the schedule but the charging port lights remain dark blue for 2 minutes then turn off. It doesn't appear to charge. As usual the dealer is not interested in helping!

Some have reported a screen setting showing one thing, but the car actually does something else. The solution has often been to change the setting, then put it back to what you want.

In your situation, I would rummage around in the car's charging pages and change everything you can find to something else and back again - you may get lucky.

If you use iSmart, just leave that alone until you have fixed the problem or given up. ISmart should show the current car settings when it refreshes, and should update the car settings when you change something on iSmart. Both of these operations fail frequently and so are best avoided when fault finding.

No idea why, but the problem seems to have righted itself.....!
