Yes. Versions for other modules can only be found in the Engineers menu .. which we mere mortals can't access

It's to stop the serial button pushers and tweakers among us totally FUBAR-ing it.

Interesting. I just find it weird that people on here have R30 or R29. Unless their software versioning goes backwards, you’d have thought these were newer, but at this point I wouldn’t be surprised…

I suspect that the R10 etc… is just a patch/point release number and actually for the full version number you need to look at the digits before that.

This would explain why the numbers regularly roll over.

Possibly. Though the non-Trophy models do seem to be a lot lower. I recall someone saying they’ve got R13?

For reference my full version number is: SWI68-29958-1300R24

Someone else on here showed a photo of SWI68-29958-1300R30, hence me believing that’s the more recent one. All other digits the same, just the last 2 that are higher.

What if 1300 is the version number and the RXX refers to the model/trim?

(I am just looking for alternative explanations that might explain why dealers are saying “you are on the latest already”).

So….
SWI68-29958-1300R24 -> Orange Trophy (UK)

Hopefully we can add to this and come to some conclusions? ?

Edit: Based on content earlier in this thread:
Ads and Crawfyp both have/had:

SWI68-29958-1300R29 -> Orange Trophy (UK) - Crawfyp has an Orange Trophy. Ads appears to also have one, most likely Orange by their profile photo.

So that's 2 other Trophies the same as mine with a different version

Also, t3rminalV has/had:
SWI68-29958-1300R30 -> Black Trophy (UK)


Jester27 has/had:
SWI69-29958-1100R10 -> Red SE SR (UK)

I was back out in the car and had a look but it was too small to see without my glasses ... 1100R13 is the last part of my SW version that I could make out.

Adds more evidence that the last part is the version number. Jester27's from a while ago is R10, yours which you collected last week is the newer R13.

Great, another useful response, communication is finally improving a bit.

Ok, so the versions are different by trim level. Not quite sure what “elements may already be installed” means though.
