No, but it now defaults to LOW which is a bit less aggressive.Does it disable/enable LKA?

You may have misunderstood my question - I was asking if the shortcut turned it off and on. Another poster has already confirmed this to be the case thoughNo, but it now defaults to LOW which is a bit less aggressive.
This is something to check with the dealer as it’s one or more specific component that might need upgrading and it’s not available to us as customers to know which ones without assistance from dealer and/or SAIC.Hi, does anyone know what the right software should be on the mg4 right now? I’ve just been trying to charge my car up at a motor charging point in wetherby and ended up ringing up after trying a few charging points and the customer service said my car might need an update but it only had a service 2 weeks ago. I’d like to think they would have updated it or atleast mentioned to me it would need doing.
Luckily I managed to get home with 11% left, don’t want to do that again though!
Now you have confirmed that R46 does not fix the Bluetooth issue I will not be having it installed when my Trophy goes for its first service in January. My only real moan is the Bluetooth unpairing and I don't like that new HVAC screen. I also heard that R46 only lets you select regen for the left star button so it's a real backwards step.I had R46 installed four weeks ago now on the second attempt by dealer. Bluetooth has dropped out three times now it says connection canceled. So I would say bluetooth still has issues. Lka is still a pain but not as bad as it was. On start up the new cheap looking Ac screen comes up and you have to press the home button to revert back to the home screen every time , a little annoying. Don't think R46 is quite the game changer so what next.
I too have 1300R33. My only real moan is the Bluetooth unpairing, sometimes it works fine for up to a week, then it unpairs , very strange how it can work fine for days on end then starts to play up again. My dealer reckons it's the body control module that handles the Bluetooth. I'm not sure though, they updated the BCM with an update they said contained BT fixes, but I still have endless pairing issues with 1300R33 in the infotainment
Sorry but I have to disagree, R46 sorted my Bluetooth issues - permanently. Now you have confirmed that R46 does not fix the Bluetooth issue I will not be having it installed when my Trophy goes for its first service in January. I've never had that issueOne bug I have heard about with R46 is that the left hand custom button won't stay bound to its setting - is this still true?
I also found annoying until I realised it only pops up if the HVAC was on when I last switched car off, otherwise it doesn't, and I now believe MG deliberately done this to prompt adjustment if required. When driving I've noticed the full HVAC screen only comes up whenever I first switch it on to give full settings menu, (since AC shortcut button only gives fan speed and temp adjustment)On start up the new cheap looking Ac screen comes up and you have to press the home button to revert back to the home screen every time , a little annoying.
In short - it depends on your dealer.Hi,Guys cut me a bit of leeway on this,my MG4 se is going in for its first one years service next week,I've enclosed picture of the firmware, will they update this in the service or do I have to ask them to do it,
Many thanks for the reply. In short - it depends on your deater.
As some others on this forum have mentioned, if you request a SW update some dealers may try to charge you by quoting that MG don't reimburse them for their work/time (and some updates can take hours to complete - tho the infotainment system usually only takes minutes) and SW updates aren't part of standard service, unless a recall applies.
But if you approach your dealer with list of problems you have, very often their go to response will be a SW update to address them, and as this will be agreed with MG, the dealer will be paid for their time.
Bottom line is tell them you want your issues sorted, how they achieve that is for them to decide, although there's probably no harm suggesting that you've read on a forum that update xxxx sorts the issue.
I think most people would agree with view that we don't care what SW version is installed as long as car functions properly.
