Another quality update from mg.

On other news, another mg4 driver went to the dealer for the same update and it failed there too. They opened a ticket and he's waiting to hear back

Do you think this update could be realized in ingeneer mode?
When you look in this menu, you can see under USB Update, Map activation.
When you hit "map activation" nothing appears, but somethings in my mind think this update is available in this mode.
Also, the sips software (used by techs") allows updates & upgrades.
Is someone tryed it on windows OP System ?

It’s supposed to be user updatable. It’s broken on R40 and R46. Think R59 fixes the issue

In france we do not have yet the R59, it's crazy.
My next visit will be in 20 days, (1st Year), I hope the tech could find a way to update the map and the software in R59.
I suppose R33 users are not able to update there map too? I believe more in MG lockdown with the System.

R33 updates maps fine. Its just R40 and R46 that have the issue

R59 doesn't fix this, from what I recall reading. The map updates only seem to be compatible with 1300R33 and earlier.

The VIN is invalid. I think it is meant for SE Asia.
