Been told by Tusker that Luscombe will delivery by transporter or trailer. Car will not be driven due to me being 250 miles away

Call tusker, get the number of the dealership and call them to arrange the delivery. ?

If you know the dealer your car is at you can call the dealer and ask to collect it with Tusker, Tusker do not get involved with the delivery side. I was going to collect my MG4 SE Standard range due to me not being about week days and its usually hard to get a weekday off. My dealer is Nathaniel cars in Bridgend. They called me to say it would be delivered on the 1st November. I arranged to collect on the 4th November. Then I got the 1st off - so rang Nathaniel cars back to see if it could be delivered on the 1st and Sandra said she would see what she could do. Luckily she managed to squeeze the delivery in so mine is now coming on the 1st.

The dealers I think are happy either way. Due to how many they have to deliver when someone offers to pick theirs up they sometime can do this earlier but not always (Due to your company rules and agreement with Tusker etc / wage pattern - if your car is a salary sacrifice car)

We visited the local MG dealership Monday this week and did the paperwork for a green xpower and we're collecting it on Monday, can't believe the turnaround on that!

Seem to be a few ex-demo XPowers on Autotrader, a dealer near Durham is selling a green XPower for £31,990 it has 2,500 miles on the clock. Seems like a great deal for someone

Brand new car this one, initially they said probably end of the month but then the day after a guy rang from dealership who let us know one had arrived that morning and tbh he didn't seem surprised to have got one in so soon. He says they're getting a steady supply of them.

How were they with communication? I'm finding that it's a bit like shouting in a black hole.

Got told today the car has landed in the UK and will be PDI'd on Friday, if it passes all the checks I should get a call next Wednesday to arrange delivery.

They have been OK, if I email Dana, she always comes back with a reply in 24/48 hrs. Sam Luscombe is a member of the XPower FB group and has also been sending me update messages. Next delivery to the UK is tomorrow (25th) on the Heritage Leader into Bristol, so we may get an update from them next week as a lot of the cars on-board aren't showing on the MG stock locator. Send me a message if you hear anything from the dealer or Tuskers, I will do the same.

Around a week or more for me. It’s a bit annoying because they said they had one in stock they could use, and then Tusker went, “yep if the dealer says so then you’ll get the stock one quickly” and then… radio silence.

I just want to know a more firm date so I can get on with flogging my current car.

Dealer now states the 19th of November as a rough estimate and the vehicle is still 'at sea' so presume it is coming in on the ship docking tomorrow.

What do "the massed ranks of professional motoring journalists" know anyway, some of them do talk sh1te. They are right on one thing though, it's not a hot hatch, it's a mega hatch. ?
