If it's going make things more expensive, the government will copy new EU tariffs. It should be nothing being outside the EU, maybe the one Brexit benefit !
Excellent! Enjoy your new motor, I'm sure you will. ??Picking up my XPower this morning after ordering it less than 2 weeks ago!
Unfortunately I agree with you. As we are not in the EU. The Tarrifs shouldn't effect us as such. But which ever Government we get, they won't pass up the opportunity to Screw us, as always. ??If it's going make things more expensive, the government will copy new EU tariffs.
Because the money doesn't go to the manufacturer, it goes to the Treasury as a tax.
I look forward to being proved wrong, but I'm not holding my breath.
Ordered mine beginning of March for delivery September/October, now delayed until January. No problem for me, maybe get the facelift version by then. Has there been a pause at the factory while they start the new version with the updated interior? Obviously some countries have varying amounts of existing stock, especially bigger countries.
You WILL have fun getting to know your new car.?
Got it yesterday and love it!
Make sure you're running latest software - R59 for infotainment, but there may also be various SIPPs updates, relating to traction control, charging etc. Check under Vehicle Settings -> System. Contact dealer if not R59.Got it yesterday and love it!

It’s not a quick process like mobile App updates, so you’ll need to book it in and it can take a few hours. Ask about SIPP updates also.first thing i did was check the Software version, currently running R40, im due to pickup the mats on Monday from the dealer so i'll ask then to see if they can update it.
It relates to the various car modules - traction control, charging etcSIPP? Not an acronym with which I am familiar - at least not in relation to car software.

It's actually SiP (System in Package), a development/implementation standard used in a number of industries including automotive.
Here's an example:
