Deposit placed. MG4 Xpower. Volcano Orange. Collection in 2x weeks.

Couldn't choose between orange and green—was worried I'd get tired of the orange, but the dealer said green's not an option anymore. Guess fate made the call for me! ?

I'm literally at the point of pulling the trigger and getting one. Asked the question about the vibration issue and the response I got was the stock we've got is resolved of the vibration issues. It's a lease deal and the first time I've considered a lease so I'm more cautious about ending up with something with issues.

I think it's the idea that I'm going to be stuck with it, just come out of a messy divorce with an ipace, non lease so I sold it in the end after 15 months.

Yes you are tied to the lease term for sure but if you purchased then offloaded you would lose a lot of cash.
Always a gamble i suppose.

Well I've bit the bullet and paid the deposit, asked the question about build dates and vibration and have been told by Luscome all new cars they have available are resolved of the vibration issue. Gone for the orange, as it was wifeys favourite colour. 45 but still a boy racer at heart!

Yes mine (Alphabet) have not exactly hurried this one along.

Alphabet are just the finance company. The car will be delivered to a dealer who will then arrange delivery, so probably the dealer holding things up or delivery from docks to dealer. Supplying dealers often remain anonymous for leases ! …. so you have to really pressure your lease company to get the name.

Mine is due in February 2025, next update will be the manufacture date which, when confirmed, will be supplied to the local dealer by MG China.

I'd say to be on the safe side, build date should be 2024.
Supposedly Nov and Dec 2023 built,
X Power's where ok, but that's not necessarily the case. So definitely 2024.

Yep, but 1st time I've seen that. So in that case. The case against them, is a forgone conclusion, they've lost. No if's or buts, they can't win. Can they? ?
