I've had another thought (sounds danderous!) but suppose could utilise a normal type 2 charge lead plugged & locked into the vehicle and then push that female type 2/3-pin adaptor over the male (charger end) of the cable, where its tucked-out of the way?

Aah ?, assumed you must of run a lead with type 2 plug on the end but you're just running a standard 3-pin extension lead from that then? Did you have to doing anything to protect it from the elements?

You don't 'need' to protect it from the elements, only submersion would be an issue and even then it would only trip out.

But if it is submerged me thinks bigger problems are afoot! ?

I've got a post on here with pictures (don't ask me where?) ((Edit:found it)) with my adapter and extension lead plugged in, in the torrential rain.
All night, V2L- ing my off grid battery bank.

I V2L every other day during the winter come rain or shine and have never had a problem.

If it makes you feel better 'safer'? covering it up then go ahead, but I can assure you that the adapter and charging port have both been designed with the weather in mind.

Scroll down to post #17 for the picture.?

P.S. Apologies to myself for being OFF TOPIC.

Looks great Bricktop ?. Very envious of those tyres !! .. I really need to get some?

Here's some pics of my metallic Camden Grey XPower and the mods made so far.

The first mod I made was to paint the brake caliper covers black. I know many like them orange but I was'nt a fan and prefer to stay "under the radar" in Stealth mode as much as possible . ???

The second mod was to get a black MG badge for the front ? :-

The third mod was to fit LED internal lights which made a huge difference and well worth doing IMHO?? :-

After that I also got some of those excellent "Rubber" floormats for the Winter months :-

So currently looking like this. Have to say the front suspension seems to have settled down a bit lower after 2000 miles and looks better for it. ?? :-

Got details of the source of the rubber mats? Ta.

My first "mod" My new watch strap.
I know, I know, Sad innit. But what the Hell. ????

I can't find the

"What have you bought for your X Power this week?" thread,

despite my best efforts in the search function.

A quality keyring as it happens.....

Nice. Handy for when you loose your key so whoever finds it knows which car it belongs to so they can wait by it and hand it back when you return.

Not even had me X Power a week, and already getting itchy (modding) feet.
Fifteen/52 wheels are having a September autumn (fall) sale.
I really like these wheels, should look stunning on my motor. So seriously thinking of these.
Fifteen/52 Tarmac Evo alloys in White.

I've not seen this anywhere on here before? (not saying it hasn't, I just haven't seen it)

It's a shame youtube can't translate the dialogue.

Track Lap starts at 4:23.

Thanks for posting - hadn't seen that before.

I do note the much better, non-standard Bridgestone Potenza Sport tyres and the suspicious lack of roll in the corners so very much doubt the suspension was standard x-power either ;)

Good lap though.

But Google can translate the transcript into pigeon English. A time of 1:56:414 puts the XPower in some pretty good company for lap times.
