Carbon Fibre Gel wheel centres.
To cover up the Merc badge. Think they look good. ??

Part 3 of Operation 19s, arrived today.
Spigot rings. 66.66 Merc centre bore. Down to 57.1 MG centre bore. ??

Have you tried to see if a local machine shop could remove the raised AMG badge on the rim?

I haven't, Ian. Only trouble with that is, they would obviously remove the paint aswell, and they aren't raised, they are sunken letters, they would then have to touched up, and almost certainly wouldn't match. My best bet is to get, slightly curved gel badges to cover the AMG. But so far, No luck. ??

I guess at the moment it's not costing much to see if it works. But by the time you've paid a machine shop and then a wheel re-finishers to paint the wheels it's getting towards the same price as selling them and buying replacements.

Yep, I'm trying to get the whole lot, new budget tyres, fitted. Gel badges and spigot rings all in for about 300 quid. ??

Finished work today, till next April, when mowing season starts again. ?
So let the modding commence. ? While the weather is still half decent. Hopefully gonna get tyres fitted to the 19s next week. Then wait for a decent full day to fit them, I say full day as I'm gonna paint the hubs gloss Black while the wheels are off.
If the 19s are a success, Great! But if not, at least the hubs are done, as they definitely need doing
A few other little mods in the pipeline, including the Fangs and Black badge. ??

Digital records - no stamped service book. That's why I'm making sure to get properly-detailed invoices for all services and any work done. ?

Don't think there is one, is there?
You could always get your one yourself and get them to stamp and sign it.
Must admit I like an actual service book and receipts. ??

You can get them for about 2 quid on fleabay. ?

Yep, basically all that came with mine was the certificate of conformity, a quick guide and MG Assist card - no hard copy manual(s) and/or service book.
