Had the car come up to a month , 'It's lightning fast" just got some forgiveable niggles

Squeaky brakes [especially in reverse]
Can't connect my car play?
No rear passenger lighting
Don't seem to be able to lower the volume of the lady who give s the alerts/sat nav

I love the car would like to sort these niggles?

Andrew. 🙂👍

Regarding the squeaking brakes. I think going off what I've read on here. It's Because of the brake regeneration, the brakes are not getting used as they should. So get a coating of rust on them. Turn the regeneration to low and brake hard a few times and also in reverse. This should clear the rust coating, and hopefully the squeaking will go.
Think what I've just said is correct.
I'm sure someone will confirm it, or not.
🙂👍

1. As above, set regen to low and brake hard from 70mph on a dual c/w when safe to do so (a couple of times is best) and at least once a week. Also do some hard braking in reverse when and where it's safe !

2. Wait connecting teh phone until the car is in full ready mode (after foot on brake) and the car is fully booted up. Make sure your Iphone is not locked and if you still have no luck try this short cable. Doing all this has given me 99% reliable Carplay with no dropouts once connected.

3. You'll need some aftermarket lighting to solve this. I got a set of these and plug one into the rear USB when needed.

4. As above, wait until the SatNav is giving directions and alter the volume at the same time.
