MG4 X Power Vibe/Hum 65 to 75mph

The SR tesla is just under 50kg lighter than the rear wheel drive which is 1885kg and a bigger battery 77 nmc vs 59 lfp. Certainly according to EV database.

Did think the chat was about the 4 so you were right to point it out

Every model 3 is heavier, the SR is the lightest at 1836 kg and has a smaller battery than the trophy.

Not correct, looking at the Tesla Highland AWD model it weighs 1828 kg (the previous model was 100kg lighter). The battery is 79 kWh.

The AWD Cybersteer weighs 1985 kg, the battery is 77kWh.

I agree the Cybersteer has considerable weight saving potential :)

Sorry, I missed your post above :)

All X Power's with the Vibe, to be fixed within the month then? 🤣😂🤣😂

Aww, don't spoil it, BigAl. 😉🙂👍
I would like it if there was a fix for all you guys, maybe there is and this is it? From an engineering puzzle , POV which is what interests me ( read Brunel/ Poirot , maybe over egging the pudding ) you would have to discover what similarities/differences there are and then why each causes or not any undesirable effects. Information is key, most of which we are not privy to, and so we are reduced to guessing ,reading between the lines and believing or not any official statements. :coffee:

Given that the solution MG put in place for Oz was not universally rolled out and the fact the UK is no longer in the EU and the solution being proposed is for EU countries it might not even be available in the UK. So no breath holding here

Interesting that it says MG Austria have fixed several vehicles and vibrations gone completely 👍

I can't believe it's as simple as replacing the driveshafts.

Surely that would have been sorted months ago?

We were banging on about driveshaft imbalance/quality control last year?

Agreed but it seems to prove the point that the fault is fixable - something MG UK deny. So who’s kidding who ? 🤔

Some of my parts have arrived ( k frame etc etc ) waiting on final drive some fluids , bushes and some other bits and peices ..

So fingers crossed my fix will be soon ..

In the mean time quoted powder coating of my wheels $60aud per wheel and i will need new tires clocked 20000km now and they are almost shot !!

A warranty claim will be made on the buckled rim i currently have when its in for the fix !!

Hopefully everything can be lined up nicely wheels off tyres off powder coating done new tires vibe fix and back to motoring without the vibe :)

ohh and all black wheels :)

Any of you lot heard of the expression 'move on'?

Morning Grumpy.

How can you move on when not only does the issue still exist, but has not been fixed or rectified to anybody's satisfaction?

You could of course take a massive financial hit like our friend CooperS and get rid of it for something else, but I'm prepared to see them in court.
