MG4 Xpower times vs battery

Went out for some runs with the Dragy in the A.M. and achieved a best of 3.51 to 60mph and under 12secs for the 1/4 mile.
100% SOC

Too bloody early really as I needed to charge and required a quiet road.

Before I charged her up I achieved a 3.76 to 60 mph with a 60% SOC.

If you want a video link "Thumbs Up" and I will PM it to you.

It must be awful having to do this to yourself in the name of community service. Thank you for being our trooper. ?

Very impressive times, Chris. Love the slightly moody/eerie pic of the car. ??

Nice your on Pilot sport 5s yeh ? I am thinking il will lean on some of these.

I remember when in 2008 I saw the review of the Ferrari 430 scuderia doing 3.6 seconds and thinking... wow... I can only dream that kind of performances.... and now, 16 years later that acceleration comes in a 40k car ?
25k if you know where to look!

Mind bending!

Hi guys, I feel like I'm having issues with my Xpower and don't feel the performance is living up to the expectations.
I've started to record some 0-60mph/100kph times and compare against battery levels.
My expectations was that I would start losing performance at maybe 20% battery, but it seems as though it drops off instantly below 100%.
Now I don't have all the fancy gear, only an app on my phone and GPS. I know its not going to be perfect, but I think for the purpose of this it'll be close enough to get a fair idea.
Obviously road surface varies and what not around the place, but if anyone else can chip in and we can start putting together an average pattern.
I regularly drive 100km each day and normally only charge to 80%, but I can really feel the car getting slow; to the point of watching the speed tick up until I get to the speed limit.

Anyway, a few runs I've done so far:
10% - 7 sec
24% - 5.9 sec
27% - 6 sec
34% - 5.7 sec
47% - 5.4 sec
98% - 3.9 sec
This just isn't doing what it stated on the tin !
Misselling comes to mind.

Tomorrow I will test the 20% and the day after 10% on the same way in the same place (coming back home from work).

I'm discharging the battery till 5% (I read the manual and there's written to discharge under 10% at least every 6 months).

At the moment (30%) I can feel that the car is less powerful, but still OK.
Even at 50% I can feel that the acceleration isn't maximal.

There's definitely a correlation between state of charge and performance - even affects Tesla. :)

Only on the performance versions which like the X-Power, allow the full potential from the battery to be accessed. On the non-performance models (and on the non x-power MG4s), the maximum power draw is software limited, hence no perceivable performance drop outside of extremely low SoCs
