Should get mine tomorrow now, ordered on the earlier recommendation, one which wasn’t out of stock...??Mark I am at the same stage. Looking forward to get some links
I noticed the price increase.I have this one being delivered today as recommended by @shikoku14
Wow! just seen it's gone up to £17.12 Must be a lot buying that as well, I paid £12.91 yesterday
That will be interesting to find outI’m really interested in the SOH (if that’s correct) condition of battery as with over 15000 miles completed have I lost any battery capacity / degradation?
Finally got it working after uninstalling software and trying again. Works with or without being in ready mode. That's the one I bought.
It's in the car which wife has taken to work, so can't check anything at the moment.
Mine works though.
I put photos of the box it came in with the boxes ticked on it in an earlier post, check if the one you got was the same.
Just ordered a bluetooth one for a fiver from UK seller...I noticed the price increase.
Searching on eBay not particularly helpful...
Lot of Chinese cheap ones and others sent from china.
Anyone know if the Wi-Fi type would work?
Spotted a decent one for a tenner.
Confirm I used obd2 reader from ebayMy car was purchased and picked up on 23rd December 2020 Had comfort and BMS update done.
Car had new BMS update done on 1st February
I was getting reduced power 25% with 16% SOC remaining on a very small incline and MG asked the dealer to update this again, hence the 2nd BMS update but still the same, albeit slightly better when we had +10c could get a whooping 40%. Needless to say this issue is under investigation by MGWell I'm totally bewildered by this.
BMS version 0210622EU1
Was there something weird going on to cause them to do the "Jan 21" update twice?
It's all in the spreadsheet now so you can compare bits to others.
Hmm.....you have a new SCU version that hasn't been seen before - 194136858 C0812My car was purchased and picked up on 23rd December 2020 Had comfort and BMS update done.

15% improvement!I was getting reduced power 25% with 16% SOC remaining on a very small incline and MG asked the dealer to update this again, hence the 2nd BMS update but still the same, albeit slightly better when we had +10c could get a whooping 40%. Could be a EU version given the code and I don’t have the battery heater option installed.15% improvement!
Very odd.
Could you have a "special" version MG tech support asked them to install. Sounds obvious (as it's **EU1) but I wonder if it is a version normally installed in continental europe?
You haven't got the battery heater option now have you (through infotainment system)?
I guess you're going to be visiting the dealer again to try to get more than 40% power!Could be a EU version given the code and I don’t have the battery heater option installed.
I doubt the dealer even knows what's going on they just install whatever MG technicians in China decide.I guess you're going to be visiting the dealer again to try to get more than 40% power!
Maybe they'll install ***EU2 next time !!!!!!?!?!?
If you could try to ask them about it it'd be interesting, not so sure they'd probably know much though if anything like most of them.
It's not Bluetooth ...it's WiFi...don't think it will work with the app.Ordered from Ebay US, but it's the model P02 that supports iOS, let's see what happens.
