It doesn't matter whether FM or DAB stations are selected only one station plays.
I've had this issue a couple of times using DAB. The screen showed a change of station but the sound kept on merrily coming from the orginal station I had strated on. I could not even turn the radio off - the pause button on screen and steering wheel had no effect. I stopped briefly, got out of the car, got back in, to provoke a soft reset of the infotainment sytem and things went back to normal. The issue we have is that although it might show BBC Radio 2 on the screen, it is still playing Greatest Hits. No matter what it shows on the screen, the radio still only plays Greatest Hits.
Yes I’ve had that problem. It’s been in to MG and I’m waiting for module upgrade. I keep getting the message “U disk identity failure “The issue we have is that although it might show BBC Radio 2 on the screen, it is still playing Greatest Hits. No matter what it shows on the screen, the radio still only plays Greatest Hits.

Sometimes, "Hey MG" then, "play radio" works to bring the radio back on.My DAB sometimes comes on when I start the car and sometimes doesn't. When it doesn't I have to press the radio section on the home screen and then choose one of the saved stations and then it comes to life.
It has become part of my 6 minute ritual every time I get in the car.
Unplug my charger cable, get in the car, go to MG pilot to disable lane assist, turn off utterly useless speed warnings, go back to home page tap the radio section multiple times before it displays the settings, choose a channel (again, having to tap the screen multiple times, so that the radio starts playing. Drive a short distance and then check that the lane assist hasn't come back on and then start my journey.
I haven't resorted to putting tape over the camera yet as I quite like pretending that I am an airline pilot having to do lots of checks before take off. I've even taken to doing a short safety announcement when I have passengers on board.
You can use the name of the station in your favourites list. Check this:Voice commandsSometimes, "Hey MG" then, "play radio" works to bring the radio back on.
