Real World X Power mi/kWh Thread.

Probably. Drive the knackers off it in Sport mode, literally every where you go. That might do it. 🤪🙂👍
I always drive in sport mode..
Get in car wait for it to sort itself out then engage sport mode!!
Lane keep assist is something I don’t remember till it annoys me then swipe down disengage done!!

With careful driving and observing all obstacles on the roads with my mg4 long range I was able to achieve 5.7 miles per kWh, giving me well over 320 miles of range. It all depends on the way you drive.

Where's the picture?

Anyone can achieve a great number in the short term.

200 miles is the standard set on here.

Show me 5.7 for 200 miles and we will all be impressed.

You just have to trust as it was during the summer. Unlikely to get anything near that during the winter, but when warmer weather comes again I’ll repeat it and provide picture to any skeptics.

Incidentally it was over 200 miles. I drove from Aberdeen to Glasgow and back never going above 40 mph, much to the annoyance of quite a few motorists. It was really experimental and I was chuffed with the result. It showed me what can be achieved.

Fair enough, it was a bit of an experiment. But bloody boring though, Doc. 😉🙂👍

200miles at 40mph? That's dedication to experiment, 10miles would have been enough for me. And doing it come Summer just for the picture?

I'm getting about 12l/100km around town at 70km/hr at 25°C. Because they're 70km/hr highways, but I'm continually looking at the speedo, in case I get a ticket, it's very hard to hold the MG4 to 70k; it just wants to go faster.
