Say Hello

Good evening I have just bought an MG ZS EV 2022 model and already have used the forum to

sort my SAT NAV which was not working..

Due to advice in the forum it took me about 2 minutes to fix..

I now have another problem my radio works fine on FM and AM but not on DAB..

Any suggestions would be appreciated..

THANKS!!

Not at present, will try to do them tomorrow, Sunday. Cheers
Here are some pictures of the charging app, they appear to be fairly normal but then the bill for a similar charge shows the charge starting straight away and paying peak rates, this is why I manually start the charge after 2230. The first couple of charges seemed to work ok. Waiting for Octopus to call back ( will that happen??
Have you got screen shots of the settings and schedule

Not at present, will try to do them tomorrow, Sunday. Cheers

Time to say hello from Germany
The MG4 Trophy (Luxury) mod. 2023 is the youngest member of our BEV family. We own it as leasing leasing since July 2024 and did 7500 kilometres since.
Our total experience with BEV's counts up to more than 90000 kilometers in three years.
Besides the MG4 we now use two different Fiat 500e (20 kwh and 40 kwh battery) and one Tesla Model 3 long range.
The cars are part of our non fossile energy use philosophy which included a large pv system and a heat pump as well.
I'm looking forward to discussing MG4 related topics and BEV topics in general with nice people.
Besides all the "electric tricks" riding and maintaining of my beloved Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Motorcycle remains my "dirty hobby".
Uwe

Hi everyone.

I will be / am (on Friday) a first time MG owner after having decided to take a massive leap of faith from many successful years of Pug ownership, opting for a 2024 ZS Trophy Connect (LR).

It's a massive shift for me, as this is not only my first MG and my first EV, but my first automatic too!

I came here after discovering the Podcast videos on YouTube whilst doing a little research on what I might expect in the way of Common Faults and Problems and I was quite happy to see that the 5 things listed are pretty much all what I'd expect from owning any car, not specifically MG.

I'll be lucky if I can find a 10mm spanner if my past experience of the sockets are anything go by - so I might have to buy one to keep in the car! ;)

The only thing I think I need to research now is the reset process, which sounds simple enough - but forewarned and all that! :)

Welcome to the forum,
I have used the 10mm a couple of times on my MG5. Just take the negative cable off for a minute or so. If that doesn't work leave it for 10 minutes. Worth having a 12V battery booster pack too. I helped a ZS driver out while in Scotland last year giving him a boost to get into ready mode.

FWIW, there's a cheap booster pack in Lidl until tomorrow.

I have just bought a ZS EV Trophy Long Range as our first EV and hope get it shortly.

I replaces an 11 year old Polo. The cost to change was very attractive.

As we have two other ICE cars it will be a toe in the water.
