I don't think so!
I've always understood brake fluid change is time related not mileage dependant and should be done every 2 years because of moisture absorption.Thank you. I see now. The main difference is brake fluid and coolant changes are stretched out. I didn’t know that this had now been introduced.
When I was with Ford, the service plan allowed one to service anywhere in the UK. I don't know if it is same with MG.I presume my service plan is only with my dealer but could be wrong
I have also got a 3 year service plan quote from GLyn Hopkin MG East London for l0,000 miles per year - Total £262.976 @ £7.97 per month for 32 months ;

So they change the oil and filter on the second year then ?Wow, this is what I was quoted, and believed it was universal....
1 year / 15,000 miles - £119.99
2 year / 30,000 - £221.17
3 year / 45,000 - £119.99
4 year / 60,000 - £394.93
When questioned, was told:
"Yes its just labour for the 1st and 3rd service but no oil or oil filter.
The 4th service is a bigger service due to the transmission fluid and the vehicle coolant being replaced."
I was so dumb struck by the 4th service charge that the penny didn't even drop about the oil???. Perhaps I've got a special car?So they change the oil and filter on the second year then ?![]()
Looks like they've given you the ICE ZS prices.
I paid £87 inc vat for !st year service at Autobase MG.I'm gobsmacked at the differences between dealers here. I got a quote for 3yr plan for only 5k miles total £457.72 so £13.46 per month. How's a garage in East London so much cheaper than Chester ?
Mileage Total* ZS Electric 15k
1 year Service Jan 2022 5000 £106.80
2 year Service Jan 2023 10000 £203.32
3 year Service Jan 2024 15000 £106.80
It'll need the "Special, EV oil", AKA "Snake oil" then.I was so dumb struck by the 4th service charge that the penny didn't even drop about the oil???. Perhaps I've got a special car?
