So the way I see it is:
Last year with octopus I used 4988 kWh and paid £827 so if nothing went up or down in next 10 years I'd pay £8,270
If doing Tomatopia over 10 years it would cost £120(cost)x12(months)x10(years)=£14,400
A difference of £6,130.
I can not afford to buy solar and battery in advance but the above means I will be paying £6,130 to own the equipment in 10 years time. (at least I have read in many places it becomes yours but yet to see that on their own website.)
So questions for me to ask
1) exactly what equipment will be used how many panels what inverter and what size battery.
2) do I own after 10 years?
3) if I move in year 9 do I just pay 1 years electric fees to pay it off. (ie. 12x£120)
4) if your company goes under do I then own the equipment at that point
So what maths have I done wrong and what have I missed
