I have not checked, but is there a valet mode? There was on the EV6.

Do they take every car on road test that they perform a tyre change on ?.
I very much doubt it !.
I would question their actions if it was my car TBH.

Nada. Jubilee clips do way more. Eco mode is where its at. Also weirdly and to throw a spanner in the works, anyone noticed less in the rain ?

I would quest their actions if it was my car TBH.

What would be funny is after you'd questioned their actions officially e.g. with a dated letter/email you received a NIP.

Questioning them might make them think twice about TWOC'ing someone else's P&J.

Imagine if the owner tracked movement of the car away from the tyre shop and then reported it as TWOC.
Then the car was picked up on police car equipped with ANPR and it got TPAC’d !.
Explain THAT to the customer if you can tyre shop !.
Joy riding as it’s very best, most definitely.

Or instead of TPAC'd it got Stinger'd, at least you'd be in a good position for new tyres

There used to be a garage called Peter Smith Sports Cars in Hatton, Derbyshire who were Lotus and TVR specialists. A number of years ago one of the young mechanics took a customer's Lotus for a short test drive to check whatever problem it had had been fixed.

I was returning home along the A38 and on the other carriageway I saw the Lotus merrily blazing away with a sorry looking mechanic looking on...

...15 miles away from the garage.

Renault Garage at the bottom of the hill where my parents live had a new mechanic take a customers R5 Turbo for a post service run and put it on its roof into a field.

Mind you the same garage prosecuted their workshop manager for fraud, he was sending tax discs in but pocketing the proceeds.

Bizarrely it is no longer in business.
