X Power Alloy Wheels

It's a shame I couldn't get the orange to appear behind the wheels....
Well, its a personal choice, but I asked the dealer to remove the caliper covers before I picked up the car. Wolf in sheeps clothing ?. Honestly I think the std rims look ok. But I do wonder how much improvement you would get with aero covers

Maybe those Oz wheels would actually get better range ?

Agreed! And I'd only have them in white if my car was white.

Depending on the outcome of my rejection, it will be the green car I have now, lowered with Graphite OZ's or
possibly a white car, lowered with white OZ's.

The rock did a nice job, there's still bits of it inside the rim

Got a new tyre and did a diy repair for now. I'm sure I'll curb it before the end of the lease so I'll get them refurbished in the last month

Good to see the famous firm "Bodge-it and Scarper' still doing the rounds!

There but for the "Grace of God" go I m8.

Always a kerb out there to catch the unwary pal.

I've hit loads over the years!

Yep, it's weird how the bastards just jump out at you!
I actually found out now what I hit. The flooding eroded the grass side of the road back so far that it exposed the concrete sides of a raised manhole cover, so basically the side of the road is about 6" back from where it should be. Will report it as I won't be the only car that's hit it.

Had a spell across late 2000’s early 2010’s where accumulated a number of damaged rims due to deep pot holes (usually hidden under puddles) on local roads and every time I reported one the LA would simply reply that their policy was that claims were only validated where the road defect had not previously been reported - needless to say they always followed-up by saying that particular location was already logged for repairs and hence no claim could be made!

@salty m8, with your incredible mocking up skills can you do anything with these on the X Power, Green if possible.

And what's happening with your new wheels pal?

I'll, see what I can do, Chris. As for my wheels, I'm just spying my chance. It's been bloody cold recently. Don't fancy frostbite. First half decent day, I'm gonna test fit one side (front and back) see if everything's ok, brake clearance etc, if it is. Then I'll get tyres fitted. And get them on. 🙂👍

You Sir, are most excellent.

Thankyou.

I think the green and gold is a classic combo and will suit my X Powers lighter Green.

I've said before Tony, that this car would have been lowered and sporting new alloys by now if it wasn't for the you know what.

Ere!
How long have you been Distinguished?

Congrats. 👍

Agree, Chris. Gold would definitely suit your colour Green. 😎🙂👍
