1. They are now, not providing a fix.
2. Litigation has already commenced and will not fail.
3. 'Fussing' with the tyre pressures has made a difference for me and others on here.

Only speaking for myself but MG's balls are out in the air swinging free, and waiting to be kicked.

The MG whistle-blower who leaked the official fix technical document saw to that. (Thank you whoever you are)

If, and it's a very big if in my opinion, we lose, then I will be keeping my car for the foreseeable.
I love it in all other regards.
Nothing comes close at this price level.

And that's important to me as I've retired and don't have the sort of cash sloshing about that I used to.

It really is a very good package.
I will go ahead and lower it.

Those who have leased can just wait it out I guess or as per CooperS sell it now at a loss and buy a Polestar.

As above ...... we will have to wait and see what litigation brings now that MG UK are not going to fix the issue.

It sounds like other countries are also going to litigation.

Personally I will be handing my car back at the end of the PCP agreement in September 2025 with at least a limited loss compared to current secondhand prices.

I won't ever be buying another MG due to MG UK's response on this issue - so it's their loss longer term of at least one repeat customer, but I'm sure many more too.

I can kind of understand why a rear suspension fix would not work, it is surely a front end issue.
I can barely feel the slightest sensation in the steering wheel at the problem speed, i would never put it down to anything if i did not know about the issue, increasing tyre pressures may have helped.
I do not personally see how rear suspension can cause a vibe that is pretty much in the steering wheel only and not coming thru the car frame etc.
My guess is as mentioned elsewhere and a motor phasing issue that cannot be software fixed.

I'm not sure the information available supports that assertion. Rather that the issue is a harmonic "beat" with the front and rear axles.

There won't be a revised version again until at least next year, they already had one in 2023
