Possibly fixed now as it hasn't gone orange since the service in January..Your car must be running an old software.
The bar was fixed long time ago now for the SE SR

Mine did it at 100% once. This is an entertaining thread! Mine has been green for all of the 3 months I've had it, but this morning it randomly went amber with 96% charge. Seems a little overcautious...
Ok, you win!Mine did it at 100% once.
If you do a balance charge at 100% does it go green again?
Where are you getting those figures from? Or have you just made an educated assessment?
What I have experienced in my car is green down to 9%, amber down to 5%, and red below 5%.
The figures came from a ZS owner. I thought it would be the same.Where are you getting those figures from? Or have you just made an educated assessment?

But the HV battery symbol on the driver display changes colour too, so the length of the battery bar is irrelevant.I think other MGs do that so it's a reasonable assumption the MG4 has faulty implementation. As far as I can see the amber colour comes on at 12 miles remaining regardless of % charge, and I have never seen it go red.
This is a ridiculously low point to set the colour change at. If you're not aware you're imminently in need of a charge before you're at 12 miles of range, the tiny remaining stripe of orange on the dashboard isn't going to do you a lot of good.
Theres nothing in the manual.I looked in the manual too, but couldn’t see a thing about it either
I’m anaspeptic, frasmotic, even compunctious to have caused you such pericombobulation. Is it plugged in?
Is it turned on?
Have you tried turning it on and off again?
Have you bisected the generative quadrophonic interface with a polaron bypass?
