I’ve had this with podpoint. Did you confirm the charge through the podpoint app?
Yeah - You have to confirm the charge after plugging in on the Pod Point app, or the charge will STOP after 15 mins.
On the post it does say "Up to 7 kw's".
But if you are not sharing a post, then you should be getting the Max 7.0 kw's unless there is a problem with the post of course.
As said, 1 hour of charge at the full 7.0 kw's should give you about twenty miles of extra range.
IF - You are below a 96 - 97% SOC.
At this point, the car will reduce the charge down to around 3.6 kw's as per normal.
Anything below 96% SOC and the car should accept the full Max 7.0 kw's if the post is working okay and you are not sharing the posts with other cars.
If you have the latest BMS update, it should allow you to charge on an A/C source with the doors unlocked.
Otherwise, when you unlock the doors with the fob, it will interrupt the charging cycle.
When you lock the doors, it should recommence the charge.
If you want to put shopping in the boot, don't unlock the car with the fob if it is on charge.
Just lift the MG badge on the hatch and it will allow you into the boot to put shopping away.
The doors will remain locked at this point.
Just shut the hatch when you have finished and it will lock the boot itself.
