Glad you’re sorted. My mine is finally getting a new CCU today/tomorrow and softwares updates hopefully. Have had a few alerts through today which is telling of the update, but had a call to say it won’t be ready until tomorrow. It’s getting valeted by the garage because of the messing around they’ve done which won’t be until Saturday so I’ve asked them to do a test charge on Friday night. I just don’t believe it will be sorted, I’ve lost a lot of faith in the car.

Hope you get sorted. The update seems to have fixed the issue with Bluetooth phone connection.
Haven't tried DC charging yet but think it will be fine. Found a USB stick still in one of the ports, rang them and they told me it's what they use to update car, will return it to them over the weekend.

You will of course make a copy of the contents and put the on say OneDrive or Google Drive before returning it, am I right?

Sorry, rapid DC charging

Managed to plug DC charger today and it worked, but did throw up error message HV battery shut off. No idea what this means

Morning, charged vehicle to 100% over night on house charger. Range is saying 238 miles, I have a trophy and this used to be around 300 during warm weather, not sure if this battery error message is causing this.

This is the error message when plugged into DC charger
Just to confirm less of an error, more for info.
Mine does the same. Completely normal.

If the High Voltage system is active/shows READY on the driver screen when you connect a charger this will pop up to confirm HV battery ‘shut off’ to accept charge as the battery cannot provide power and receive charge at the same time. The inverter manages this and is single direction.

Also the expected range at 100% is nicknamed the guess o meter. It will increase/decrease as you drive and it learns average consumption yet the software update will have cleared any previous data.

Still not sorted. Software update has failed again, they’ve tried two or three times the last two days and three or four other times at least over the last 6 months for different software versions. Starting to feel like there’s a real issue with the car. I think the CCU has been changed, but I can’t get the charging levels through the app to tell if they’re successfully charging or not.

Car now won’t be ready until at least Monday when MG are back for them to speak to as they think it might be their (the garage) computer. I didn’t mention to them that your software updates were successful less than a week ago…

Hopefully they will sort it Monday by using the USB stick which I returned.
Looks like it did the trick, you had the one and only trusty USB stick! Software update successful today (apparently) and CCU was changed. Car is on charge at the dealership and currently up at 99%. So glad to see it actually charging! Picking it up in the morning.

Glad it's done (apparently). I'm enjoying my vehicle now all the issues seem to be rectified. Hopefully going forward the only time I will need to go to dealership is for annual service

Good news! (For once!) the CCU has been replaced and the car successfully charges on the slow chargers. Left overnight at the dealer on Sunday and charged to 100%. Used about 8% through the day and plugged in last night to check ours still worked, and it is back up at 100%.

However, there is still issues with the CarPlay side of things, so now they’re going to order a new USB port… let’s see if that makes any difference! Have been updated to R59 (although cruise control still jumps in 5mph blocks instead of 1mph…)
