Haven’t washed mines for weeks but noticed a strange phenomenon.
Magnette follows Henry Fords ideas about car colour :-

If I park it with the Cuilin mountains of the Isle SKYE in the background it’s fine, shiny and red :- View attachment 31375

But move a few feet up the road so the glorious Isle of RUM Cuillins are the backdrop, and the car transforms to black :-

Just washed mine now again, going to use a prep spray over it to remove any residue then apply a second coating of Siramik Lustrous sealant.

Gave the wheels a good clean today and used Gyeon tyre cleaner on the rubber.

Dried them all off the coated the faces and barrels with Lustrous and the caliper covers and used Auto Glym tyre Gel to finish everything off.
Will do the Leaf tomorrow the same if my back allows it.

Just got this hand held drier from Amazon, i am happy drying the car overall with a drying towel but wanted something for getting into the wheels mainly and round the door shuts etc. 40 quid, turned up this morning and used it to dry the Leafs wheels after washing them, it works a treat.

Looks good value . They are a must for all the nooks and crannies IMHO. I have the cheapish "ZanGe Dog Hair Dryer 2800W Variable Speed" one from Amazon and it's done a great job for quite a few years despite being knocked about and runover !!

Another wash today, Bilt hamber snowfoam followed by Auto Glym UHD shampoo and a spray coating of Bilt Hamber Touch on as a finish before drying.

Was going to take a picture but TBH as per previous ones it just looks shiny and Orange.
So bloody chuffed with the colour TBH.
