Found ZS Service Book Download

On the Gen 1 model, the second service was pretty much the same content as the first service, but they replaced the cabin filter I seem to remember ?.
Some owners had their brake fluid replaced also, but not us.

SERVICE INCLUDES:​

  • Pollen filter
  • Brake fluid Change
  • Check vehicle for any outstanding Campaigns
  • Reset service indicator
  • Carry out road test of vehicle to test for driveability abnormalities
  • Check vehicle systems operation via VDS
  • Check status of manual service switch to ensure reliable mounting and clean dust on surface
  • check the appearance of the vent valve for damage, and check the marking for fitting to see if moved
  • Check drive motor mounting bracket
  • Check the status of brake vacuum booster and hose
  • Check the appearance high/low voltage connectors to confirm if surface has any damage
  • Check the high voltage harness for mutual interference, wear or damage
  • Check the appearance of high voltage battery housing for crack or deformation ( including the bracket )
  • Check connection and status of 12V battery
  • Check the appearance of high voltage battery pack grounding wire and replace it as nessecary
  • Inspect condition of cooling system, coolant level, check for leaks & condition of hoses
  • Inspect operation of windscreen washer system and top up fluid
  • Inspect condition of wiper blades
  • Inspect Brake disc brake pad condition
  • Carry out annual vehicle body/cosmetic inspection
  • Inspect Seat belt operation
  • Inspect Headlamp Alignment
  • Inspect front suspension, tie rod ends, boot seals for wear and damage
  • Inspect underbody for damage to protection panels, fuel and brake lines
  • Inspect Wheels and Tyre conditions
  • Check condition of battery using approved MG battery tester and recharge if required.
  • Check operation of lamps, horns , and system warning indicators
  • Check handbrake operation and adjust if necessary
  • Torque Wheel Nuts
  • Lubricate and check tightness of hinges and check straps
  • Lubricate Bonnet Lock and Safety Catch
  • Fit next service sticker to windscreen and stamp and complete filling out the service logbook.
