Can anyone confirm that there is a software module update that allows LKA to be
disabled with long press of button on stearing wheel. (MG4 Trophy.)

That's a game changer if it does and the update should be made available to all who want it. No chance MG will do that, we will need to argue to get it I suspect.

Yeah I don't think there is a steering wheel button that turns off LKA , I just asked because they said it did. ?

On SE’s R33 the ‘one button’ approach is on the main screens pull down menu. Still requires confirmation though.

I don't know why. My brothers MG Marvel doesn't require the confirmation.

People need to stop referring to these R versions. I just had some major updates applied to my car in Australia but R version is unchanged.

Few things I noticed since update

• AEB fix
• Tyre pressures changed from KPa to Bar on driver display
• OPD seems softer than it was before
• LKA audible warning and vibration now stays off even after turning car on and off

I am still on R5 that my car originally shipped with. I believe R version only applies to infotainment display.

I've got to book in for the AEB update.
That one is interesting though, since OPD mode feels more like sport than normal at the moment in my car.

The R numbers only refer to the infotainment software. There are lots of other modules that can be updated independently that control different things.

There isn't one ... but as I've posted elsewhere, long press of a Star button could be offered as an option to toggle LKA on/off (without confirmation).

Not in France, not even in Europe. For me the ELK disable function is new (I didn't have this on R46).

Still have one star button that stuck on Regen switch. Feels like 360 camera is less smooth, but ELK/LKA works now good (I did only one drive) I can easily switch lanes without blinkers.
