Hi All. Is the published range of the ZS EV been tested in Eco mode or Normal mode?

I know several factors impact it, just curious when it’s full changed and balanced, should the range in a brand new car read 163 miles when in normal or eco?

Thanks

I only get a listed range of 163 miles in Eco mode after a full charge.

It will almost certainly be in ECO mode they did the test - they obviously want it to be as high as possible!
And with the lightest of feather touches on the pedal I assume lol.

I've never seen the range after a full charge show exactly 163 miles in my new car.
It normally seems to show 179 in ECO (with everything definitely off).
This is with the accumulated trip reset - as that seems to give the range algorithm it's driving style etc variations.

But, as you say, in theory with everything reset, you would kinda think it should show a base 163mile range by default in ECO.

Depending on which BMS version you have, how it’s been applied and what state your battery equalisation is at of course! ???

Even if your battery voltage is low needing equalisation? Or if you have the buggy software with range degradation?

I think, from what I've read on here, if your battery isn't equalised it's not charging to 100% so it probably won't show the full range. You'll only get the 163 reading if your battery is at 100%.
