Ive read and seen that the the KIA ev6 gt matches the ioniq 5N for straight line performance but the N is the track monster with all the bells and whistles ..
Mind you though in Australia you're looking at 55k drive away for a MG4 X power brand spanking new VS 118k to 124k for the ev6gt and the ioniq 5 N so yes for the ioniq 5 N with its 478kw 3.4 0-100km with boost and a top speed of 260km/h you're paying over double the money !!
Strong argument can be made with both the MG4 X power and the ioniq 5 N: where would you really use all the power unless you're tracking your car?
Then the X power kinda wins as its still less than half the price of the other 2 !!
That said if i had 120k or was willing to spend that on a EV the ionic 5 N would be sitting in my driveway no doubts. It's an absolute beast of a EV nothing really comes close IMO !!
Personally with some super good mods to the X power ( while you could never match the ioniq 5 N for power and top speed )
Add light weight wheels, lowered springs , Koni adjustable shocks , sort the roll bar issue, slap a bit more down force over the front wheels , bigger race brakes from brembo , some decent UHP tyres
Tart up the interior with some Recaro racing seats in the front ..
That stuff would seriously make the X power a monster on track as well let alone on the road ..
Less than another 50k spent on the ioniq 5 N !!
Im just waiting on my fix !!
Got the lowered H&R springs in the box waiting !!
then new tyres !!
Im going to price up a fitment and cost of the regular MG4 front sway bar ..
After market shocks and performance brakes are non existent .. sadly !!
light weight wheels are a no go there is a limit to where your spending good money over bad. 3k for wheels is a bit excessive ..
would rather factory wheels as they have to adhere to strict design rules for the car so !!
priced up $60 a wheel to powder coat stocky Xpower wheels all black..
found a guy who mobile wraps cars looking to black out the sliver rear and side accents !!
not sure about seats the sensor for the start up may cause issues ..
OHH and BTW there is a FUSE that one of the mechanics told me about that disables ALL traction and stability control for the full on side ways pure un aided AWD 320kW 600Nm fun !!
Because as it stands you cannot actually fully disable the traction and stability control via the infotainment screen its always there in some form or another you need to pull the fuse !!
Not sure ive got the cojones these days to try !!
