I have several T shirts for this exact scenario!
You either have to pretend your not interested or floor it anyway and hope for the best. 🤣

As I've said sooo many times before......in the twisties, this car is superb up to about 7 tenths.

You start asking for more and you will eventually be looking at a big accident. (IMO)

Straight line anhilation?
No problem.

Still fun?
You betcha.
I can still be found laughing out loud at the sheer ground covering ability of my car.
For the money, nothing comes close.
Surprised were still allowed to own such ballistic road going missiles t b f.

Enjoy it while you can.

I reckon we're only about 5 years away from Vehicle Enforced Road Sign Speed Limits, where there will be no option to switch it of.
It's just a matter of time.

Sort of makes a mockery of the new 2029 Xpower plus, with 560 bhp and electronic turbo boost. 0-70 in 2 secs , top speed 70? Utopian or dystopian , who decides? Will Elons Starlink system allow Teslas to opt out of these regs so increasing Tesla sales? akin to his supercharger opt outs. A new plot line for an upcoming James Bond film, and this time I want my cut!:sneaky:

Jesus, hope that limited top speed of 70mph, never happens. 🙁 But the rest of the above car sounds great! 🙂
But at least getting to 70 in 2 seconds, would be bloody, exciting!! 🙂👍

SAIC will limit it to 64mph so no-one will experience the vibrations and then claim this lower limit is simply a characteristic of the car.

You already know the plot, despotic industrialist , world domination, puppet under the cosh President with finger on the nuclear button, unhappy British electorate sick of sitting in controlled 30mph traffic whilst Elons chosen ones sail by in unrestricted smugness, call on the services of 007 to put an end to their misery. lob in a white cat or two , some lasers and under cover Chinese collaboration to bring it more up to date/ controversial , its a winner apart from the disappointing car chase scenes ruined by LKA and the like and the new regs on how many new toys Q can fit to the new electric Aston , lasers verses range , always a problem. The new Bond will need new mathematical skills to work the numbers , perhaps Professor Brian Cox could be in with shout.
Just need a title and theme song ? 😀

Sounds good but excessive cat lobbing for me. Make it 005 with a proper estate car and I reckon you’ve nailed it 🤣🤣.

Sounds like you want to audition for the lead role, swapping posh swanky hotels for a roof tent might need some inventive explaining to the producers though!
 
Just been for a Coffee. Quick detour coming home, via. Rainford By-pass and the East Lancs Rd. I've said it before and I'll say it again. It will NEVER get boring. 🙂
I know there's opinions about it not being a, "proper Hot Hatch" 🙄
All I know is, it's a Hatch and it's BLOODY HOT! ⚡🙂👍

Oh yeah ... they're pretty quick ... Hyundai 5N equivalent 😊👍.

What colour have they got ? ... they hav'nt got that great a range of good colours IMHO. I like the matte grey but not sure I could live with a matte colour being an avid car detailer / polisher and the risk of bird poo etching !!

It's on my list for my next car (September 2025) but about 4th atm, up there with Ioniq 5N, BMW i4 M50 and Porsche Taycan. All secondand of course !!

Waiting for 2nd hand prices to come down more hopefully🤞

+1 on the matte paint thing, not for me.

Actually his is a 22 plate, just looked at some on Autotrader and his might be 320bhp, so could still have him.😂.
