That was quick! Pleased for you.
I read your previous posts with interest. Mine broke a year to the day it was registered as well. I suspect there will be a few more cropping up.Turns out it was a CCU replacement. Being fitted as we speak
Have they diagnosed the fault yet?If anyone is following mine, I still don't have my car back.
Fault first appeared 18th March. First into dealer 29th April. Back same day. Not fixed.
Back into dealer 9th May where it still is.
They have.Have they diagnosed the fault yet?
No oil leak on ours. However, it was made in November 2022 which I think was after factory changes to rectify oil leak issues.It'd be interesting to know if the cars diagnosed with a faulty CCU also had the oil leak.
No oil leak on mine either but it was made in 2023, definitely post fix.No oil leak on ours. However, it was made in November 2022 which I think was after factory changes to rectify oil leak issues.
That can happen but it seems rare, most people report DC charging continues to work, which mine did for the 4 months it took to fix it.Update;
My garage has seen one of these issues before so luckily I'm not the first.
I wrote all my issues down and left it on the passenger seat, they kept the car for 2 days for "updates", surprise surprise, it didn't work.
Ticket sent off to MG who have said it needs a new CCU. Estimating 7-10 working days for the part and one day to fit.
On the previous car that needed a CCU apparently the DC charging failed too?
