MG4 51 vs MG4 XPOWER (Only 5000€+)

Obviously X Power owner's are going to be a bit biased. So the obvious but boring answer, is it really is up to you. BUT the X Power really is an awesome car. And a 2023 car, can still be OK. It's literally pot luck.
So test drive the X Power, and I mean a good test drive. And check everything you've probably read about them on this forum. If it's to your liking, then go for it.

They don't have in the dealership so they have to ship it from another one there, I guess I can talk to the dealership about it and roll the chances, worst case I just reject the car I guess...

Yep, it's a bit awkward if the cars not actually there. Ask them if they'll ship it to your dealer. And you are very interested. But will only buy it, if your totally satisfied.
After a really good test drive, including motorways, and you have thoroughly checked it over. Worth a try.

X-Power better than the base model 3 (had one for 3 years), apart from the software and treatment from the company & dealers. Thing is Tesla don’t discount on rrp so you would be paying the full ~£37 to 39k for the Tesla. MG dealers are discounting the x-power by ~£12k from list price so I doubt the Tesla would be a consideration.

Also had a Model 3 SR+ for 3 years, i prefer the X Power in many ways but the Model 3 is still a bloody good car.

Here, XPowers have more features than the Excite (51 or 64) versions. If the additional features don't matter to you, does performance matter? An XPower will get to 100km/h in half the time it takes a 51. It's intoxicating...but probably unnecessary. You can, of course, drive the XPower in Eco, but the 51 doesn't have Supercar mode.

I rarely use the nutso performance, but it's nice to have. Launches to speed limits are hilarious fun, and really upset twonks. In the end, I paid less for my XPower than I'd been willing to spend on a 64 Essence before MG's sale, so can't complain.

I think the only XPower specific issue is the vibe/hum, which they or may not have, or may vary in intensity/annoyance. Other issues - mainly software - are common to all MGs.
