The mg4 xpower is probably one from the 2023 batch (I'm here in spain, where there are like probably less than 50 xpower sold in the country.
The price difference is so low... but I would have to pay a lot extra in Insurace (300 vs 750)... And I feel like the 2024 version has a lot of problems fixeds from old batches... plus the LFP battery would probably last longer...
the mg4 standard 51 is at 27k vs 32k for the xpower... It really is a bargain, I just dont feel safe about the "fiability" of the car and the After-sales here in spain.

Mg owners, tell me what do you think.

To the forum. 🙂👍

Obviously X Power owner's are going to be a bit biased. So the obvious but boring answer, is it really is up to you. BUT the X Power really is an awesome car. And a 2023 car, can still be OK. It's literally pot luck.
So test drive the X Power, and I mean a good test drive. And check everything you've probably read about them on this forum. If it's to your liking, then go for it.
Good luck. 🙂👍

They don't have in the dealership so they have to ship it from another one there, I guess I can talk to the dealership about it and roll the chances, worst case I just reject the car I guess...

Yep, it's a bit awkward if the cars not actually there. Ask them if they'll ship it to your dealer. And you are very interested. But will only buy it, if your totally satisfied.
After a really good test drive, including motorways, and you have thoroughly checked it over. Worth a try. 🙂👍

I wish i had the £5k for an Xpower when i got my MG4 LR :(
However at that difference I would have been considering a Model 3 as well.

X-Power better than the base model 3 (had one for 3 years), apart from the software and treatment from the company & dealers. Thing is Tesla don’t discount on rrp so you would be paying the full ~£37 to 39k for the Tesla. MG dealers are discounting the x-power by ~£12k from list price so I doubt the Tesla would be a consideration.
