Do I vibe?

The vibes are there regardless.

Rear motor only=Vibes.

Both motors also equals Vibes.

Mode selected also equals zero difference in my case.

On the power or off the power.

In neutral and coasting? No difference.

No rhyme nor reason.

Bad some days, more mild on others.

On one particular stretch of road that I use constantly, the vibes are.......variable.

Why?

Temperature, pressure, speed, wind direction, wifes mood, maccy d's consumed (or not) time of day, condition of road, condition of tyres, make of rubber, are they balanced correctly, driveshaft position, rotating components quality, (including manufacturer and balance) yada, yada, Yadaaaaa.

I'll run 37 rear, 40 front, for a week, then change over but........

I'm only expecting the vibes to get worse as a result.

Its only the running of them at 40psi, which got me to a stage where I could cope with it, and just bide my time til the official repair was done.

And we all know what became of that!

MG came up with idea that the position of rotating components were a thing, hence different mounting brackets cited as a repair.

Briefly.
I confirm everything you write. I also have the same vibrations in mine and they are not always constant, I noticed that when I make a few turns the vibration attenuates until it disappears then making a second turn the vibration reappears very annoying ... it seems that there is a difference between the right circumferences compared to the left which, depending on the position of the wheels, causes the front wheel drive system to resonate. The problem is not always present but it seems to me that when the asphalt is wet the vibrations are felt less ... I tried to do a bit of road with 37 in front and 40 in the back but it doesn't solve anything for me ...

So very interesting @Iankey, I lowered the rears to 37psi and left the fronts at 40psi.

The vibes are back to their worst!

I always thought in the early days that it was going to be something wrong at the front end.

2nd motor, driveshafts, blah de blah.

Doing this trip again in a few days and will reverse the pressures.

My 'guess' is that with 37 front and 40 rear, they will go back to being bearable.

We will see.

Right putting this to bed now.......

40F 40R Bearable but still apparent.

40F 37R Back to being unacceptable.

37F 40R Still unacceptable.

With the last configuration, really bad accelerating hard up through the 60-75mph.

Back to 40F 40R as soon as.
