Why let you book the car in for software updates when there is no technician available.Had my second service done today - not particularly happy.
When booking it I asked them to sort the updates for the ACC as it shouldn't slow down by 6+mph when going round a gentle curve and asked them to update the infotainment to R33 as the AA voice directions don't work when listening to the radio, plus Bluetooth drop outs and regular black screen issues.
Arrived at the dealer to find that they were not going to do any software updates as the required technician wasn't in. If I wanted to book it in for 2 weeks time they would look at it but would charge me £170 if there was nothing wrong with it!
They asked for a payment of about £50 as my service plan payments didn't cover the cost of the service as I'm doing a bit more miles than they planned. Paid the £50 extra, cancelled the direct debit for the service plan and will try someone else for the next service.
If they want feedback they will get it....
Do what I did and leave a review on Google.
It was impossible to get through on the phone to my local dealer and when you did they said they'd ring you back which never happened so I said as much on their Google review. Head office replied saying they would look into it and now they answer the phone.
