The most important should be at the top.

Cyberster improvement wish list
  1. The subwoofer doesn't work. A fix to enable it would be most welcome.
  2. Allow the use of cruise control in the Custom drive mode
  3. A method to close the boot without having to grab and push down the boot lid
  4. Automatically increase the display brightness when the roof is down. A brightness setting suitable for when the roof is up is too dim when the roof is down.
  5. Allow the owner to reconfigure the right paddle to provide regen adjustment. Left paddle for regen increase, right paddle for regen decrease. That's common on other EVs and would be more intuitive for anyone driving a sports car used to paddle shifts.
  6. Make it possible to open and close the roof with the key fob
  7. Proper Balance options for the sound system - and especially Fade options
  8. Over The Air Updates. OTA. Setup a UK and Europe Server to enable this. Its almost 2025!
  9. Both Paddle shifts can Toggle up/down regenerative braking. Like the KIA you can hold down the left paddle for live regen braking. This can be configured in the menus on center dash.
  10. Switchable screens for European cars. Left Screen and Right screens
  11. Throttle carries on accelerating after let off. Not immediately responsive possibly with regen off
  12. Maps can be moved to the center screen where more visible like Audi with speed and power output still displayed with corner readings.

I don't ride a Cyberster yet, but I would be happy to have the option of switching the digital speedometer to an analogue speedometer.

Currently, you have to hold the switch in the desired position to open and close the roof. It would be desirable if the switch could be released after approx. 5 seconds and the closing or opening process could be completed automatically.

I want to comment on above mentioned point 5.

To be able to re-program that one can use it as wished I would support, but NOT to change. Would be a major step back to loose the sports and custom mode on the right paddle.

Currently the paddles are almost perfect to give the feeling of a pdk driving. Mainly I drive in comfort mode as there is enough power. When I need more power like over taking and so on I "shift down" with the right paddle and put it in SPORT. Same for recuperation. When I have to break hard, like a in a twisty mountain road down hill I "shift down" with the left paddle for more recuperation, like in a pdk I would use the engine break.

The only thing for me to change is that one does not have to flip through all stages, but could go back and forward directly to the wished option by pushing or pulling the paddle shift.
Hope it is clear what I mean.

My suggestion is how the user interfaces with the screens left and right of the center driver display. On the steering wheel are 2 "joy sticks". (y) They should be the controls for the left and right touch screens. Up-down-left-right, press to select. These could navigate the entire selections on these screens without the need to ever touch the screen (which are not very responsive anyway). Scrolling through the menus with mechanical control is less distracting while driving and more easily accomplished. Currently the left joy stick seems to be the distance following control for the cruise control only (wasteful) and the right joy stick is volume, track forward and pause. Those functions can (and should) be accomplished elsewhere or maybe a scroll wheel (Tesla). The push buttons on the steering wheel to scroll through pages is ok but redundant. If you want to adjust something you still need to touch the screen anyway and the page choices are available on touch screen as well so these page buttons on the wheel are superfluous. The joy sticks are logical controls yet way underutilized.

I am user of a Tesla and what I really miss a lot is when you do a trip that the routng doesn't plan where to stop to charge. I suppose this is also a problem for all MG cars. But it is really a pain to have to look for chargers manually. Tesla will plan with the stops and times on each one to calculate your trip.

In my last test drive, we had to follow a leading car. So behind it, we did some pulls.. I found it scary that when you take your foot off the accelerator, it kind of continues throttle for a fraction of a second, bringing you closer to the car in front than wanted. On top of that, the brake pedal feeling should also be improved, the pedal travel before the bite is really too long. Both problems combined are really noticeable, at least on the 2 test cars I've driven.

Pet peeves so far:
1 - the chair doesn't always go back/forth for easy exit/entrance when the doors open/close. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Absolutely no idea why this happens, it's annoyingly inconsistent.
2 - left hand screen, would like it to remember last use so don't always need to move it down from the Sat Nav top page to Apple Carplay.
3 - right hand screen, Driving energy consumption, the vertical scale goes from -20 to 80 miles/kWh, when the average is going to be somewhere between 2 and 4... Can we have a more sensible range?
4 - audio volume decreases when you select reverse... Why?

So all software issues, haven't actually wished for the current 1-7 on the list!

Can you please add that in Europe on the cars that drive on the right the entertainment screen is on the left so copilot can not manage music or navigation. I think this is very important. They left it as uk side on the left.

I still can not edit the post... Thanks

Audio volume goes down in my all my recent cars when reversing too. I like it

... and a simple button to open the trunk from inside would be fine. It is really anoying to pull out the key to open from inside, or get out of the car to push the button under the trunk.

About the easy entry for seat I realize that if you put in parking before opening the door is works but if you open the door without putting into parking then wont work.

I always put it in Park before opening the door. Still haven’t managed to work out the conditions yet.

But on entering, if you press the brake before closing the door, then the seat will move forward!

Great suggestions by everybody! I'ld like to add a few too:

I don't understand why you have to push the recline button of the chairs for +10s to make it go beyond a certain point. Wait 1s or beep if needed, but 10s is really a long time, and there's still plenty of space. Many test users might not know this and think the car is too small for anybody of average EU size.

Battery pre-conditioning(heating) when a charging station is set as destination, would be practical.

Is there a way to disable 'auto-creep' when putting the car in reverse?

In our Tesla Model X, the driver door closes when the driver pushes the brake pedal, it would be 'nice to have', it's certainly very practical.

Walk away auto-locking after some time.

Remember the last airconditioning setting and seat/steering wheel heating setting associated with top up vs top down and switch automatically with roof up/down.

Mobile app should deal better with the long latency for the round trip communication with the car.

Just drove the cyberster :Improvements could be :

  • Electronic piloted suspension is missing in case you wanna drive it very fast... the car doesn't behave so well on a bumpy road in the countryside, the comfort mode is enough for 90% of people i'd say and Sport/Super Sport are quite close in terms of feedback/power delivery
  • Antifog buttbon : why that little button on the center bottom screen ?
  • The central mirror in the cabin isn't electrochromatic ! How ?? the electricity is just behind with the camera...
  • Opening roof from the remote control would be great
  • Doors controlled from the remote key are not easy to manage, you never know how long to press and you can't open both at the same time for a "cool effect"
  • 360 degrees camera isn't as practical as my MG3 Hybrid.. the view from the sky is just on the left part of the right screen. Too small to park and align perfectly the car in a parking place.
  • Button for the boot should be painted in the same color like the whole body (not in black!)
  • Audio should have more custom modes (but don't know why people ask for "fade" since it's just a 2 seats car ^^)
  • No wireless android auto / carplay
  • No induction charging and USB is not type C
  • Not made for big guys above 1m80
  • Ergonomics : for passenger adjusting heating, seats etc isn't easy at all (because of the handling bar)
  • Courtesy mirrors are thin and the cover isn't easy to maintain opened
  • Speed can't be set at over 130kph with the cruise control

Overall the car remains very pleasant and the ride is very comfy, enough power and that GT feeling / premium quality inside is there.
