I've had mine for little over a year, done 12k miles in it. I suffered with software glitches, and finally had it updated during its first service. It's a completely different car. Would I buy another one - not until they support over the air updates, this is a show stopper for me.

I understand exactly about the OTA updates, but as long as the latest version has fixed things and new functionality is available, and especially dealers get their act together. it does not matter. The car is far better value than not having OTA.

I don't consider OTA updates to be a deal breaker at all. But I do consider an inability to update car's software reliably, easily and cheaply to be a big failing.

Probably two thirds of the people struggling with issues would have them solved with the right updates. Most of them would never have had the problems had it been easier and quicker to get their cars updated in the first place.

Software updates working smoothly, regularly and well are essential, regardless of whether they happen over the air or through a dealer visit.

My own car being the X Power is also the fastest to 60mph in the World (Dragy Worldwide Leaderboard) with a still unbeaten 3.51 0 to 60mph time.

Oh, and a still unbeaten 11.84 quarter mile time.

Which leader board is that? To get anywhere near the top of road cars you need to be well south of 2 seconds. In EV tables Tesla Performance are clocking around 2.1
