Nope, don't hate you at all. 🤬
But you are now on my ignore list. 😉🙂👍
🤣🤣
Orange is a good safe colour ( sounds like I’m trying to stay off your ignore list)

Maybe the ocd in me says the orange calliper covers work better with an orange car ..

It was just too bright. I kept looking at a orange one in a shopping Center over a few months before bought mine with mixed feelings on the colour!

If I’m being completely honest black silver white grey are all boring as hell colours !!

Everyone buys those colours in most cars!!

Even the red is common; looks like Mazda's red..

But the blue, matt green, and orange are more of a individual colour, so while it sticks out it’s a breath of fresh air over the normal ( everyone buys ) boring colours..

Word of warning to anyone looking at a 2024 or newer, Just ordered a Camden grey one.

It was actually in the showroom and looked great... at first glance. It looks like MG have done something really really dumb (in my option) and changed the front and rear skirts on them. The sides are still painted gloss black with the silver inserts but the front and back are unpainted with really tacky looking moulded carbon pattern inserts.

Looks awful, nearly cancelled my order. The dealer is getting me a quote for replacements that are properly painted, albeit by a local body shop not MG. Really soured my experience and I haven't even picked the thing up yet.

Example picture above, not mine and it's not that obvious that doesn't match the sides but still looks a bit cack on their top line model.

That must be an X-Power thing then ... my 2022 SE SR has moulded plastic. 🤷‍♂️

There are a few of these around.

Just been quoted £425 to get the front and back done. gone for it so I will be joining you lads and ladies shortly. 😁

To go back to the colour thing, I initially was going for the red. It's a nice colour but I just think the grey suits the car with the black trim better. Was quite taken with the green after seeing it in the flesh on the test drive and the family quite liked it. I currently drive a MK II facelift Octavia vRS in bright green so quite like green. Decided against it in the end as it will be real problem to repair nicely if it ever gets damaged and I know I would end up with shiny spots where I'd over clean it.

Really like the blue and the orange but decided that they were a bit too much. If they were metallic, I think the decision would have been a lot harder and I would have probably gone orange.

if im honest i think that looks better than the silver bits i floated around a few places to try to get them wrapped or painted..

The silver bits look out of place what else on the car is the same silver??

Even to the point im going to see me dealer for prices to go to the Matt black ones

I would agree but I was put off by the fake carbon fibre pattern. If the main parts front and back were painted gloss black, like the side skirts, I don't think I would have bothered. I think the silver with the Camden grey is subtle works quite well but more importantly it should just match all round the car.

If you want to change the colour of the inserts, I have been told by the dealer that they are removable. Either way you could try something like plastidip and spray them yourself. It's a matt finish spray that just peels off if you want to change it or dont like it.
