Is that for EU - note that screen on my UK supplied vehicle with R40 installed is flipped from what's shown above, with CarPlay/AA on the left and vertical shortcut strip on the right?

Also, can R46 be downloaded from anywhere as a fall-back if something goes wrong?

Didn't realise I had to go back a folder in the directory to view everything else from the link I'd followed - can see it now, thanks. Will give it a go later and see what happens ?

R59 - updated from R40 that the car was delivered with at start of last week. Haven't checked full functionality yet but the LKA shortcut is now showing.

Out of interest - do you have a phase 1 or 2 Trophy? (without or with rear wiper)

I’m on R46 which is working well - yet the LKA shortcut and charger stop sat nav routing would be a positive gain…

Newly delivered XPower (same software as Trophy with rear wiper)

Haven't tried out much yet tbh and all return trips to date have been easily within range. Plan to let the battery run down and see how well the charger stop(s) work on sat nav in practice, but only after having testing fast charging locally first.

Not sure on whether hotspot is ok or not as no requirement for it.

CarPlay has the A/C bar above the screen, but no pull-down works in CarPlay mode (either for A/C or the shortcut menu) - not a show stopper but be nice if worked properly.

The dealer stated they had updated the LKA module software and leaving it on hasn't caused me any problems to date, so seems to be the module update that makes it behave a lot more sedately rather than infotainment version. Again though, just thought it would be nice to have the shortcut in R59 if there's a point when I do wish to turn it off more easily.

Hi, is it possible to change the infotainment language to Czech in R59?

Permissions changed for AA & they use the same settings for CP so R46 is the last one that allows the HVAC & settings to be pulled down over the screen
IMO there's no need to turn off LKA/ELK now it has been tamed down
Unless R63> adds something special I'll keep R46

I don't think it's ever been discussed, but it's common on Wordpress to add automatically -number when there are files with the same name

Sorry if this is a silly question but I note a folder and 2 files extracted these appear
in a folder MG4 Trophy R59 ( Folder AVN_MPU Files md5_check and vipimage.bin )
Do I just put these 3 files in the root of USB Drive ???
Also inside AVN_MPU there is a compressed folder usb_ota_update do I need to
decompress this???

Copy all 3 to the root

Getting my Trophy tomorrow, first thing I will do is see what update its on. My guess since was serviced December 2023 its probably dated.

Am I correct in thinking I need to follow these instructions for the Trophy;

With regards to over air software updates. My garage had to highlight problems with screen freezing and dropping bluetooth as reasons for the update to R59, which is then at MG's cost. Hopefully with Mg getting hit by the customers software update costs they will be encouraged to get overair...

Keep the folder structure, when I did move AVN_MPU out it didn't detect.

When you do the infotainment make sure foot is on the brake so its in ready mode. AVN_MPU needs power to begin with but seems doesn't need it consistently just for the check.
