It is surely worth a try.As increasing the tyre pressure seems to lessen the vibrations for some cars has anyone tried just increasing either the front or rear tyres?
My theory is as the wheels spin faster the diameter of the tyre increases and the air pressure in the tyre effects the amount the tyre is allowed to increase in diameter and change the final drive ratio. If the vibrations are caused by an imbalance between the front and rear motors this might reduce the problem.

Not posted for similar reasons of ridicule, I've been thinking along the same lines, If the rear tyres are at a lower pressure then that motor has to do more work, the front motor has to do less work if the tyres are at a higher pressure so evening out a bit the differing torque values of each motor. Fair enough. But I find mine's ok. Not supposed to be a fix, just a help. ??Rides terrible with tyres pumped that high, harsh ride, less grip. Deadly in the wet. Not sure how understeer in a windy wet road would go. Thats a compromise and not a fix.

An enterprising owner could try it, costs nothing apart from a bit of time . ???? might even decrease those 0 - 60 times, bigger contact patch for the bigger motor. ?
Its not meant to be a fix, that is MGs prerogative , legally and morally. It is trying to isolate what the problem actually is and then seeing if things get better/worse or change the dynamics. The only option an owner has is to play around with tyre pressures or alter tyre sizes??? one is cheap the other is not and could lead to warranty disputes. My own car ( non X power ) I have found responds to changes in tyre pressures quite well even over a short range of variations and that it rides better at around 3-4 pounds over MGs recommendations and is more sluggish when its just down on those same values. So playing with the pressures do change the dynamics and the car does react and responds to them. Any information that can be found from these changes then needs to be analysed and chewed over to try to form some sort of conclusion ( right or wrong ) which could be used in any dispute with MG.Rides terrible with tyres pumped that high, harsh ride, less grip. If the vibes get worse as a consequence, then in a perverted way , that is result, it is one thing to think about then tick off the list. At least its more than MG are publicly doing . Good Luck.The vibes are there regardless.
Rear motor only=Vibes.
Both motors also equals Vibes.
Mode selected also equals zero difference in my case.
On the power or off the power.
In neutral and coasting? No difference.
No rhyme nor reason.
Bad some days, more mild on others.
On one particular stretch of road that I use constantly, the vibes are.......variable.
Why?
Temperature, pressure, speed, wind direction, wifes mood, maccy d's consumed (or not) time of day, condition of road, condition of tyres, make of rubber, are they balanced correctly, driveshaft position, rotating components quality, (including manufacturer and balance) yada, yada, Yadaaaaa.
I'll run 37 rear, 40 front, for a week, then change over but........
I'm only expecting the vibes to get worse as a result.
Its only the running of them at 40psi, which got me to a stage where I could cope with it, and just bide my time til the official repair was done.
And we all know what became of that!
MG came up with idea that the position of rotating components were a thing, hence different mounting brackets cited as a repair.

I came up with the 40psi 'fix' after driving @Doug C 's Volcano X Power.
When I checked his TPMS screen they were at 40psi.
The tyres were stock but his car had zero vibes.
His car was made just a couple of months after mine in June last year which is mad, as there are cars made later than that, that do have the vibes.
I haven't thought of running it across just the one axle though.
I will do it this week just to see.
Might as well rule something else out........or............
