The AWD variant, yes. It's a bit more premium, and therefore expensive, but a peer of sorts, in my opinion. I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned earlier.

Perhaps it's only recently become available in the UK? It's been available in Australia since I think late last year. I see many Seals about, but I have no idea how many of those are AWD. It appears from photos that they have a 3.8S badge! I'll look out for that in future. Not that I'm in the market for that sort of car, just curious.

It has an 86kWh LFP battery, so it's quite heavy at 2185 kg. It still claims 3.8s 0-100 km/h from 390kW and 670 Nm torque.

I sat in one yesterday and it was clearly, as you say, a premium car. The fit and finish were outstanding, and hence far pricier than the XPower.

The Seal is more a competitor for the Model 3 than the MG4.

Let's not talk about range, if that's a factor you won't be buying an Xpower. Fact is it's the best bang for your buck that money can buy. I turned 75 this month, still keeping fit and having owned a hanger full of cars in my time (and driven hundreds more as a mechanic) the Xpower is the most exciting I have ever driven. It's a sporting retired persons dream.
